Working at The Irish Rep
We have no openings at this time.
Traditionally we hold one Equity Principle Audition (EPA) call per production, which is always listed in Backstage and/or Playbill. If time allows, we will see non-Equity actors during the EPAs. While we may do casting at other times, those are usually through agent submissions. We do not accept unsolicited headshots or resumes. No phone calls, please.
The Irish Rep uses volunteer ushers for its performances. Volunteer ushers receive one (1) free ticket to the show. Acceptance is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and is based on availability. Sign-up begins two (2) weeks prior to the start of each production. To volunteer, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with three (3) dates of availability during the run of the production. The Irish Rep reserves the right to not use volunteers.
We are always seeking eager, creative, and responsible students of business management, drama, or liberal arts. College credit and/or a small travel stipend are, on occassion, available. Internships start in January, May, and September. A minimum of 16 hours (or 2 days) per week is requested. Internships may last for the length of a semester, a whole academic year, or only the length of a production (roughly 12 weeks). Internships will consist of a variety of general responsibilities plus a "concentration" in development, management, or production.
Please email cover letter indicating interests and qualifications, resume, references, and a writing sample (paper, article, letter, etc.) to email@example.com. No phone calls, please.
