An unscrupulous banker, a penniless ingénue, and a
pigeon shootin’ baker’s daughter are just some of the characters in
Dion Boucicault’s THE STREETS OF NEW YORK. The adaptation of
this classic Victorian melodrama features twelve new songs by The
Irish Repertory Theatre’s Artistic Director Charlotte Moore. The
play follows the changing fortunes of several characters whose lives
are intertwined in mid-nineteenth century New York.
